We love Modern Jive and as an independent company we are passionate about everyone knowing what Modern Jive is. Modern Jive is a partner dance with no complicated footwork. We teach in a slot, which helps each dancer know where they are travelling to and from. We teach to all types of music; fast and slow tempos. We run weekly classes and monthly freestyles in Bolney and Worthing. We teach with an understanding of mobility, respect and loads of fun. Come and learn with us and make loads of new friends.


We are Kane and Holly Jenner. Kane is a qualified LeRoc teacher and DJ with 20 years experience. He introduced the world of dance to Holly 3 years ago and she is hooked. We run with a wonderful team of volunteers and wouldn’t be able to keep going without their kind support.


Dancing offers a powerful boost for mental health, blending physical movement with emotional expression in a way that improves overall well-being. That is why we believe everyone should be moving in some way.

 

We have a sister branch called HYBRID. This is for West Coast Swing, Smooth Jive and expressive dancers. We put on monthly workshops with guest teachers and monthly freestyles.
